Sohar Aluminium was honoured by the Ministry of Manpower for its Omanisation which is in excess of 70% of its total work force. 

The award ceremony was held at Al Bustan Palace Hotel under the auspices of Lieutenant General Malik bin Sulaiman Al Mammari, Inspector General of Police and Customs, and the presence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Bakri, Minister of Manpower.  

In addition, Sheikh Abdullah stated that this occasion coincides with the celebrations of the 40th National Day and the ministry is also honouring 40 Omanis working for the private sector in recognition of their individual work performance.  He also thanked all Omanis in the private sector which cumulatively exceeds 200,000 employees.  

Mr Henk Pauw, Sohar Aluminium’s Chief Executive Officer received the trophy on this occasion, which evidently marks this achievement.
